Riya-Nareshkumar Gadhavi (Four score)

  • My top priority is on stable housing throughout academic year. Moving out during summer disrupt the studying schedule and diminishes the fluidity of the course. This is especially acute for January intake students.

  • Another priority of mine is to make that student, both home & domestic, are able to have work placements and adqequate experience (both paid and voluntary) to make sure that they can get jobs at graduation.

  • I pledge to make ARU environmentally friendly and plastic free.

  • I want every student, especially across all campuses in HEMS, to be able to reach out to me during their studies. I am gregarious by nature and I love to talk to people so if I am presented with problems, of whatever sort, I can try and communicate it to ARU and faculty.

  • I want to build links with former ARU alumni so that they can come in and give talks maybe internships. I also want to build links with people at Cambridge University by collaborating on a variety of different areas.

  • I want to make sure that the bar is built and I will add my voice to that. I will make sure that Mental Health is a priority and that the social calendar is paced so that students can both enjoy themselves to the max, study and also take a break when they need to.

  • I want to make sure that Off-Term there are enough activities to keep students entertained.

  • I will prioritise disability access and add my voice to the ARU Accessible campaign.

  • I will introduce a metric performance system where voters can rate my monthly performance.

  • Library access is only 24 hours during the week and for safety reasons should be open similarly on weekends.
