The hours, days, weeks, months and years at university can and should change our lives for the better. For us, for society, for the planet. We are responsible for making the most of this time and doing sustainable improvements.
As a large multicultural family, everyone can contribute. Let us motivate ourselves and our fellow students, make the best of us and create a strong positive atmosphere of dialogue, understanding, and progress.I believe that the world is for everyone and we are interdependent on actions and inactions. I would love to hold discussions, classes, and forums on all topics, and share ideas with the academic board. No one will respond to our requests unless we have properly addressed them. I believe that with academics, we have the same interest and it is a matter of dialogue and diplomacy to find compromise solutions in which everyone can win.
Specifically: I have interests in coding/programming & web development and would like to be able to organize a discussion platform that will generate referendum results. A model of Direct Democracy. That is how we will have the most important topics voted on by the majority for discussion. The information will be restricted internally, for members only.
We are capable of achieving much together, united!
P.S. A little bit for me. I am from Bulgaria, studying for a second year (first after foundation) International Business Management, (Evening-Weekend). I work on a state project as a coordinator in Camden and live in Paddington. Last year, I was a representative of our course and probably will be again, as my fellow students demand that I return to this function.
If I were your representative, I would do what I did for my group. I will fight for your rights, risking my own well-being. And there will definitely be changes, because I bring things to the end. Vote for me only if you have read so far and think I am on your side. Not because you do not care who will be, but by making a conscious choice. Vice President job role is a position which you are paying for.
