Why gender inequality in Nursing ( adult nursing)?

Why women are more interested in studying nursing than men? There are more women in adult nursing than men.

There are more women  working  in the hospital  than men ( on the ward).

Women are working hard:

• Looking after children ( challenges keeping up with children homework)
• looking after their husband ( making sure she looks nice for her partner or husband)
• Studying at university, going for placement, training
• nurses in the hospital or community( with more responsabilities).
• Sociolising
• May be looking after relative  (who is not well) as well as their family.
