Welcome Desk Representatives
Cambridge
£10.90 per hour
We’re looking to recruit new Welcome Representatives to join the team on the Cambridge Campus.
As the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, a commitment to outstanding customer service is essential. You will be welcoming and friendly, signposting students to other services within the University and Students’ Union, promoting events and memberships to clubs and societies. You will also be involved in booking appointments for the Students’ Union Advice Service, where maintaining confidentiality is vital.
In return, we will offer you full training, helping you to develop essential workplace skills. We offer great rates of pay (as a Living Wage Employer, we currently pay £10.90ph) and flexible working hours, which will allow you to balance your job with your studies.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday 14th June at midnight.

ARU Students' Union employ students in a variety of roles from bar assistants to admin roles, or even jobs that can give you experience in your chosen area of study, such as student graphic designer. We offer the Living Wage and full training for all roles, and we also understand that there are times throughout the academic year when you will need the flexibility to focus more on your academic commitments.
In addition to our paid jobs, we also recruit volunteers to help us to support the student community at key times in the year. SU Heroes play a key role within our student staff team, welcoming and supporting new and returning students.
