Student Consult is a unique opportunity for graduates and researchers to gain professional experience by tackling real social issues as part of a student consultancy team.
You will receive training and get mentoring support. Work collaboratively for 3-4 weeks in a team to solve challenges presented by partner organisations. At the end of the project, you will get a chance to present your recommendations as a solution-focused report.
Your volunteering matters - our communities are trying to develop solutions to the many challenges we are facing. You can help them by working collaboratively in a team and practically applying your experience/ skills to create fresh thinking solutions.

What kind of problems will I be working on?
SHoKE partners with County Councils, NHS, Charities, and other impactful organisations to address priority issues. Previous hot topics, for instance, are youth engagement, national park accessibility, housing strategy, and tourism.
When is the event?
We are looking for volunteers in Tr3 (2 events to choose from)
TR3
Training (2 weeks) - Monday 19 May - Friday 30 May
Project (3 weeks, voluntary) in June and July
