Come celebrate everything that is cycling and Cambridge at this new Milton Country Park Festival! Imagine the weirdest and wackiest bikes you can. Now, combine them with unique local crafts, a yarn bombed treasure trail, bike decoration, pedaling your way to a smoothie, music, and so much more! It's the perfect day out for all of the family.
There are lots of different volunteering opportunities that can be geared to your interest and skills at Cambikefest!
The aim is to get 50 volunteers and a packed lunch will be provided for those at lunch time!
Cambridge Sport Lakes is hosting the venue at Milton Country Park and supporting this initiative in a big way. This will be a family daye- encouraging people to have fun outdoors together and it is hoped that about 2000 people attend!
There will be all sorts going on, including:
. Bike decorating for youngsters
. Pedal-powered smoothies
. Wacky bikes to try out
. Yarnbombing trail in the woods
You will need to be available for at least half the day. The event itself will take place on the 22nd of June, 12pm-7pm and volunteers are wanted all day!
