The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) runs children’s homes in Nakuru, Kenya, Chiang Rai, Thailand as well as education centres in Bali, Medan, Jakarta and Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and have ongoing recruitment for 6 volunteer positions within their nonprofit organization. Apply for a medical internship in Nakuru, Kenya

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) offers a unique Volunteer Internship position at our Nakuru, Kenya children’s home for medical and nursing students. Together with your help we aim to improve health awareness among our children, their families and our local community. This position offers opportunity to gain health-related experience in a low income setting to enhance your CV and set you apart from your peers.

Become a co-director in Indonesia, Thailand or Kenya

Recent graduate looking for a long-term volunteer management opportunity? IHF is looking for hard-working, dedicated volunteers to commit their time and talents for one year in one of our 6 children’s homes and education centres in Indonesia, Thailand and Kenya. Your role will be to manage the day-to-day maintenance of the centre’s programs and initiatives alongside an international staff, in the effort to provide a better opportunity for children’s futures. You are asked to complete at least 4 hours a day of local work and 4 hours a day of international work, 6 days a week.

Volunteer Math teacher needed to help children in Kenya

The IHF is seeking a volunteer math teacher for its Nakuru, Kenya children’s home as part of our Volunteer Work Study Program. As a math Teacher Work Study Volunteer, you would complete 4 hours of local work and 4 hours of international work a day alongside an international staff dedicated to global development and helping children have access to more opportunities.

Volunteer Nurse needed for Children’s home in Kenya

The IHF provides a home for children at its centre in Nakuru, Kenya. This facility has around 65 children ranging from the age 6-19 years. We have basic medicines and facilities necessary to provide first aid and intervention for common childhood illnesses. We need a nursing volunteer who can provide medical care, assist in health education programs with children and give counselling support.

Volunteer Work Study opportunity in Indonesia, Thailand and Kenya

The IHF is seeking forward-thinking, dynamic individuals of all ages/backgrounds to contribute to our international centres as part of our Volunteer Work Study Program. At our Indonesian centre, you will teach English to young students for whom English is a tool to secure better jobs in the future. In the Thailand and Kenya children homes, daily tasks will include assisting with homework and organizing projects and activities for the children. At all centres you will provide the co-Directors with needs-based assistance in the daily maintenance of the centres, becoming a part of the IHF family and integral to the work we do.

Spend your break volunteering in Kenya, Indonesia or Thailand

As a volunteer, you would gain hands-on experience with an international not-for-profit NGO at the ground level and contribute your time and talents to substantially helping provide better opportunities for young students.
