Last year the big team campaign was 'RENT' and from this we launched the Rent Survey. At the close of the survey we had 502 responses!
Over the summer I have been doing the analysis of the survey results and completing the write up of the rent report! I am happy to say the rent report has now been published for you to read. See the link below.

Recently the officer team met with Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner to discuss the rent report and get their support for further action and to support the implementation of the recommendations. We will again raise these issues to the local MPs in Cambridge and Chelmsford following the General Election.
The report has also been circulated to senior staff within the university including the Vice Chancellor. They welcomed the report and were keen to see this campaign succeed and to see the recommendations resolved.
A new Accomodation Working Group is now in place, which i will be sitting on, and we will look to act on the recommendations of the rent report! The first meeting will be taking place on the 19th November
