Oxfam Mill Road, Cambridge want to invite you to a very special Vintage Lock-in party!

The charity shop was awarded the Joe Mitty award for entrepreneurial spirit in 2012 and they’re showing they’ve still got it with this event. Donations of vintage and designer clothing are given to the shop regularly but don’t really sell in the shop. When Sophie May started volunteering at the shop in October it was down to her to come with a way of selling these clothes for a very reasonable price and that’s how the Vintage Lock-In came to be.

Every donation of clothing taken since October has been checked very carefully and every quality vintage, retro and designer item has been held back for this special event. This includes an Yves Saint Lauren blazer, a Harris Tweed jacket and a Jigsaw skirt amongst many others! A local designer has given three unique hand-made dresses which will be auctioned off on the night.
Plus the very kind people of The Co-Operative have donated some Fair Trade wine to enjoy whilst browsing the rails.

Make sure you come in your finest as there will be a Best Dressed competition!

Only £1.50 to enter with a prize of a £20 gift voucher to spend in the shop!

Monday 1st April 3-8pm, Oxfam Mill Rd – be there!
