It has been an exciting week! Very excited to see so many people running in the elections, it will be a great opportunity for them and for ARU students. Good luck to all the candidates, and make sure you look at their manifestos!

So the week just gone I have had my third periodic review, and one thing that came out of it is how well the society is doing and how it is support by the department. Have you thought of setting up a society that is related to the course you are on? It is a great opportunity to enhance your learning and do things that you don’t have time to do in the lecture theatre. Contact Emily Millar or Conor Glackin if you want to find out more information about setting up societies.

On the Monday and part of Tuesday we spent the whole day looking at our current roles, and how we can make them more time effective so that we can go out and talk to you more!

On Tuesday I also went to the Good Academic Practice working group, this is a group that is looking at making videos to make academic regulations more interactive. If you have some acting skills please get in contact with me!

On Wednesday I met with some people in the Faculty of health, social care and education to look at the student experience matrix we have put together to help improve their student experience.

I also met up with Anglia learning and teaching about the Made a difference awards, finalising the arrangements and how we are going to start looking through the nominations, to find our winners. Very exciting!
