We have one space for an Anglia Ruskin student to attend the NUS Black Students Conference on behalf of the Students' Union. The term ‘Black’ is used to refer to African,

Arab, Asian and Caribbean students and those who self-define as Black.

Saturday 11 May 2013 09:00 - Sunday 12 May 2013 16:00

The Met Hotel, Leeds

More information about the conference can be found here: http://www.nusconnect.org.uk/ents/event/627/

As a conference delegate, you will be voting on National Policy and you will elect the National Black Students' Officer to represent the voices of students. This is a full time position. Candidates for election to the full-time positions on the National Executive Council are required to sign a contract of employment with the National Union, the terms of which are agreed from time to time by the National Executive Council.

The conference and travel will be paid for however we will not cover food/drink expenses.

If you would like to go, please register your interest with me by tomorrow Friday 19th April 10am.
