Hello again! Sophie-May here. I am back at university for my second year and feeling ready for the new challenges and opportunities. I have decided that I will no longer be writing for the student newspaper this year. I really enjoyed working with the whole team last year and will always be grateful for the experience. I met some incredible people through my stories (Lola is now one of my best friends and Father McKenzie is a real inspiration) and I’m sad that I won’t get to carry on meeting so many characters. I had to give up the reporting role to make extra time for my studies and a part time job I started over the summer. However, I’m still going to be writing and sharing with you. I’ve decided to try my hand at poetry for a while… let’s see how that goes!
