Yes ladies and gents, it's a new academic year for Anglia Ruskin, and a fresh start for Archifunk!

After spending last year getting ourselves organised, we are now ready to welcome our new freshers students into the fold!  It's been a while! But we are preparing ourselves to be back for the 2023/14 academic year!

So fingers crossed we shall be seeing a few new faces again this year at the freshers fair! (Taking place on the 1st of October, we have our stall place booked, so see you all there) Oh, and as like last year, we'll try to buy in some sweeties for all those willing to get involved!

If you have a question about Archifunk, feel free to ask us on our facebook page, we don't bite! (Well, depending on if we have had a long study night!)

So, what did we acomplish last year? (For all those freshers wanting to know what we got up to) Well, we got ourselves rebuilt from the group up with a new committee team, and got ourselves much more involved with the architecture department. We took an active role in appealing for more design equipment to be placed in the Chelmsford library, and even had it mentioned to the course's review board!

We also got involved by helping organise guest speakers, such as Steven Hodder, who is now the official President of The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)!

And we have even more planned for this year! However, we can't do it without your help, so find us during the freshers fair, and bring your ideas to the table, as we begin to take a look at organising a new committee team!

So we shall see you all soon, and hope you all had a great summer!
