What are your main duties and how do they benefit others?

Collecting feedback from classmates and accurately presenting their opinions/suggestions in our Student / Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) and working together to find and negotiate the best solutions to the problem.

 

What have you enjoyed most about volunteering?

I like teamwork. We have built a strong relationship based on loyalty. We work together to ensure student voices are heard.

 

What skills have you learnt and used during your volunteering?

I have improved my presentation skills.

 

What inspires you to volunteer?

I am happy to support and help the students to find solutions where is needed. Moreover, volunteering helps me to gain experience in working as a team.

 

What is your favourite volunteering memory?

The best moment of my "course rep" mandate so far is the desire of all course reps to help to solve " timetable issues" which have occurred in my cohort. I believe we will continue to work together to improve this in the future. Thank you to all of you.

 

Why do you love volunteering?

I like working with people. Volunteering for me is a positive activity in society.

 

What are your future career aspirations?

Volunteering gives me experience and skills connected to different levels of communication. Moreover, improving my time management skill, organisation skill and self-presentation.
