Ruderal Reintroductions: Ivy Broomrape Sowing & Squirrel-Proofing

In this session we will be squirrel-proofing our freshly potted Acorns (Quercus robur) and Field Maples (Acer campestre) and testing methodologies for the most effective germination of the fully-parasitic Ivy Broomrape (Orobanche hederae)!

Our aim is to, by next year, have a myriad of new native plants popping up all over campus and to also improve some of the planting areas in the process.

This session will be accessible to all and the skills that you learn can be added to your CVs and Personal development modules/accreditations!

Let us know if you have any questions, look forward to seeing you there!
