We are a democratic organisation, which means you set our direction. How do we do this? Through two annual elections, putting students into decision-making & decision-influencing positions.

Every October* we elect Class Reps & Course Champions. These are voluntary positions for any current student and if elected, you are to raise feedback on behalf of those within your class (or whole course if you are a Course Champion).

*we also run this election in January and May when necessary

Every March we elect your Vice Presidents (ARU London).  These are paid positions for any 1st or 2nd year students who will work with the London Students' Union team for one year, 2/3 days per week, from July 2023. One role is based in Farringdon and the other based in East India. If elected, you will be the voice of all ARU London students based on your campus, with access to a campaigns budget and regular meetings with the University's Senior Management Team.
