Anglia Gate Choir
We are a choir based here in Cambridge. The choir is made up of a wide variety of talent from singers, musicians, dancers, sound engineers, and social media gurus to anyone who aspires to develop any talent in music and events. We meet for rehearsals at the ARU Cambridge campus and also arrange to have social events.
In our repertoire, we sing:
- Choir arrangement of cover songs on popular songs in any genre e.g. Trendy songs, Classics, Gospel songs, Carols
- Event hosts/clients can request songs and/or any genre as we work to their needs, provided enough notice is given
- Working flexibly with genres allows us to explore all types of music and challenge ourselves musically and be inclusive.
We aim to sing at any events, including:
- Open Days at A.R.U
- A.R.U Graduation ceremonies
- University events and student socials
- Collaborating with other societies
- Community & Charity events
- Competitions for example, university choir competitions
- Festivals for example, Christmas carols
- Private hire such as weddings, parties, funerals etc.
- Corporate hire such as corporate parties, events, award ceremonies etc.
Rehearsal times:
Every fortnight on Wednesday, starting 17 January 2024 at 18:00-19:30.
