Visit the Cambridge Botanical Gardens with your Peer Wellbeing Mentors and other ARU students. Make some new connections and friends.
When: Friday 26 April, leave campus at 11:45am and return for approximately 2.30pm
We are walking from campus to the gardens: 1 mile, approximately 20-minute walk
What to expect:
Take a break this busy exam season.
Spend some time in nature wandering around the gardens.
Smell the fragrant flowers, look at the marvellous colours, listen to the sounds of flowing water and small animals.
Mindfulness activities provided by the Peer Wellbeing Mentors: drawing, rainbow photography and finding a "sit spot" to journal in.
Time to just be…guaranteed to lower any stress levels.
All you need to bring is some outdoor shoes/clothes, a suitable coat, something to sit on the ground upon and a packed lunch and drink/ money to buy refreshments.
