Being a student at Anglia Ruskin has given me an opportunity to explore different things and has given me a chance to have a go at things that I would otherwise missed on. I would be a very hands on person if I was given the chance to have this post and challenge myself to make sure that everything I do will be for the best for all students at Anglia Ruskin. Long term I would like my link with Anglia Ruskin to continue as I have felt as part of the family here and when you have a family ,you always want the best for them. I feel this post will enhance my involvement within the university and broaden my knowledge and experience of working with other student for the betterment of all. As an outgoing person and a sport fanatic the role would be perfect for me and I know that I will enjoy it and give my very best for myself and every student. My open and approachable character will also help me deal with different people from all backgrounds and I always treat everyone equally. I also feel my strong and decisive character will help me make decisionswhen called for. Above all I will enjoy working in this role working at an instituion that I respect and hold highly. As an Academic Officer, I will give my all to make a change for the good of all students. This role will also enhance my management and personal communication skills as I will be dealing with different people and aspect to do with the university. As a mature student I will be able to fall back on some life experiences and pass them on to the team I will be working with and I will also learn from others. I am a team player and a good listener and motivator for others.
