Cambridge Nightline Volunteering Roles

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Nightline is a confidential night-time listening service run by students of Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Cambridge. They aim to offer anonymous and non-advisory support to students in the city over phone, email, and instant messaging.

Currently Active Volunteering Roles:

Volunteer Listener-  They look for volunteers who are able to listen the concerns of callers, show empathy, and provide emotional support. Nightline are not an advice service, but they do provide a safe space for students to talk about whatever might be on their mind.

If this sounds like something you could do, they would love to hear from you!

Nightline recruit new volunteers twice per academic year, once in October and once in February, through an online form and an interview.

You can express interest to take part in our next round of applications on our website at any time of the year.
