Risk Assesments, Data Protection and Equality Impact Assessments:
An Equality Impact Assessment form needs to be filled out for your Society. This document highlights the student demographic and who it will have an impact on.
A risk assessment needs to be filled out for every event/trip your Society holds or attends. Failure to submit a risk assessment will put a suspension on social activities for your society. They highlight 3 basic areas which are: identifying a hazard, access the risk and a safety control measure.
This poster can be displayed whenever refreshments are sold or given out. Committee members should have risk assessed any food or drink being sold or given out and can use this poster to prompt individuals to ask about allergens or intolerances.

Please fill in this from if any member of your Society is injured taking part in Society activity. Then submit it to a member of the Student Activities Team.
Activities Insurance Full Policy

This insurance is compulsory for all students wishing to be members of a sports based society. If any student taking part does not hold this then they are not legally covered.
