ARQlab

The aim of this society is to introduce students to qualitative research, to both deepen and widen their knowledge on qualitative data collection and analysis.

The objectives are:

  • Explore theoretical concepts through reading and discussion
  • Learn from experts in the field through talks and workshops
  • Gain practical experience of using qualitative methods through collaboration on staff projects
  • Meet like minded students for support, personal development and socialising

Did you know that we won the 'Education Impact Award' "to recognise a group or individual(s) who have made a significant impact on the educational experience at ARU."?

Some past projects:

Letters to our younger selves

What happens when academic research is communicated using creative nonfiction techniques? Can a story be research? And what about a visual story?

More info here, and some taster images below to get you interetsed :)

QRSE Student and ECR conference:

The aim of this conference was to use the online format as an opportunity for a rich conference experience dedicated to qualitative research, with a focus and an opportunity to shine, gain experience, learn, and network for ECR and students. You can find more information here.  The conference included keynotes, panel discussions, and recorded presentations.  You can get an idea of this in the images below.
