Great opportunity to gain work experience with the Global Sustainability Institute and the National Union of Students.

 

Responsible Futures is an ambitious award recognising an institute’s commitment and actions towards education for sustainability and social responsibility. We’re looking for students to lead the way for the University to win RF and gain experience auditing and assisting with focus groups.

 

The audit will take place over two full days in Cambridge on 15th and 16th November. Full training is provided and all auditors will be given a reference from the NUS to attach to your CV. You will also gain: 

  • Experience of working on a national project in a professional environment
  • Insight into effective sustainability education methods
  • Experience of communicating using a variety of different means
  • Ability to support and encourage others to perform
  • Leadership skills
  • Time Management
  • Team development
  • Project management

The focus group will take place on 16th November in the afternoon. Those who sign up as auditors will also form part of the focus group.

 

Please note that food and refreshments will also be provided on both days. Those interested in being involved but not able to commit to both days would also be more than welcome to attend the focus group on the afternoon of the 16th.
