Representation Coordinator
35 hours per week (flexibility required)
£23,315 per annum
Chelmsford or Cambridge campus, with travel to other campus when needed
Do you have a sound knowledge of the issues affecting students in higher education? As our Representation Coordinator, you will actively support the development of Course, Faculty and Postgraduate Research Representatives, and ensure ARU students are able to shape their university experience. This role will focus on the Faculty of Science & Engineering and the Faculty of Business & Law.
What you will be doing
- Promoting interest amongst students in standing and voting for a Course, Faculty or Postgraduate Research Representative position, including lecture visits and induction talks.
- Providing comprehensive support to Course, Faculty and Postgraduate Research Representatives with ideas, projects and in the resolution of issues
- Designing and delivering training and resources to empower all Representatives with the skills and knowledge to effectively fulfil their roles.
- Preparing and supporting elected student representatives in their membership of committees and meetings; including the dissemination of papers and provision of briefings.
- Analysing trends in feedback and prepare reports and papers for University committees.

- Knowledge of the issues affecting students in higher education
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of personnel
- Keen interest in coordinating of campaigns or projects
- Knowledge of designing and delivering training, briefings or mentorship

Where will you be working?
You can choose either Chelmsford or Cambridge as your “home” campus. You will be required to travel the other campus as required.
