We're looking for a vibrant, passionate and creative individual to join our Communications and Marketing team. Is that you?
As our Communications and Marketing Coordinator for ARU Students' Union, your focus will be the external communications activity across our channels, offline and online, mainly focusing on the Cambridge campus.
What you will be doing

Support Students’ Union departments to create engaging, relevant and targeted communication (posters, flyers, blogs & news articles) to support the delivery of organisational objectives.

Develop communications plans to support the delivery of union objectives.

Coordinate the production and distribution of targeted email newsletters; developing content ideas, editing copy and reporting on statistics.

Capture exciting & engaging picture/video content from our activities, events and campaigns.

Working with our commercial outlets to support their day-to-day activity and increase sales

Delivering engaging content on the Students’ Union’s social media accounts
What we’re looking for

Exceptional attention to detail

Knowledge of the processes involved in marketing campaigns

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Understanding of the delivery of social media content to encourage engagement
Skills that will help you

Experience of using HTML and CSS

Time management and prioritising skills

Flexible and adaptable approach to work and working hours

This role will be based at the Cambridge Campus.
