Cambridge MidSoc Presents: Birth Trauma talk from Make Birth Better

ARU Cambridge Midwifery Society are pleased to be hosting speakers from Make Birth Better, for a discussion on Birth Trauma.

Research shows at least 1 in 4 women find some aspect of their birth traumatic. This translates to 200,000 new mums in the UK each year. So, in 2018 Perinatal Psychiatrist Dr Rebecca Moore and Clinical Psychologist Dr Emma Svanberg started a mission: to create a world where people no longer suffer from birth trauma. https://www.makebirthbetter.org/

Please join us for an online discussion of what birth trauma looks like and what we can do as student midwives to help prevent it.

This event is free for members.
