Level Up! Gaming Society presents the December 2020 Gamer Showdown Quiz
Compete against enemy gamers in our white-knuckle Kahoot to win a £50 Amazon gift card*. The 100 questions of non-stop hysteria will include:
- Who's that Pokémon?
- Name that Soundtrack
- True or False
And more!
*To be eligible to win the gift card, you must purchase membership to Level Up! Gaming Society prior to starting the quiz. Please see below for more information.
Music and information will be shared through an accompanying MS Teams stream. On the 17th of December, please click this link before 8PM to join the meeting, where you will find further instructions on how to join the Kahoot. Make sure to mute your Kahoot tab and listen to the MS Teams stream throughout the entire duration of the quiz.
Rules
- Anyone can participate, but only members of Level Up! Gaming Society may claim the prize. We will take a screenshot of current members immediately before starting the quiz, so as to prevent an exploitative situation where someone wins and then buys a membership.
- As a participant, you must include your ARU username (e.g. abc123) in your Kahoot nickname, which we will use to identify you if you win. The winner can then email myself, Joseph, at jls208@student.aru.ac.uk to collect the prize.
- If the winner is not a member, we will then choose the individual in second place, etc.
- If in the unlikely event that the outcome of the quiz is a tie, we will split the £50 gift card into two £25 gift cards. In any other weird edge cases (e.g. more than two people tie), just contact me, and we'll find a solution.
