SASG (Society of Anime, Socialising and Gaming) are gearing up to burn the midnight gaming oil on 25th February to raise money for people with disabilities.
We'll be playing video games continuously for 24 hours as part of GameBlast17, the UK’s largest gaming marathon weekend, and we are aiming to raise £200 for the charity SpecialEffect, who use technology to help people with disabilities benefit from the fun and inclusion of video games.
We are asking people to help us reach our target by sponsoring us via our online fundraising page.
Our efforts will help people like John (http://bit.ly/2gDZxF4) who never thought he'd be able to play video games again because his muscular dystrophy stopped him using a controller.
Anyone can sponsor us online at http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/SASG-ARU. More details of the GameBlast17 event can be found at http://www.gameblast17.com
