The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. They ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. The BMSS will be hosting it at the ARU SU and become part of the already raised £200 million. 1 in 2 of us will face cancer, the money we raise we'll make sure no one has to face it alone. 

The society has also been sponsored by The Physiological Society to happily promote #BioBakes2018, an annual event of physiology baking competition on its fifth year. Using creativity and originality to rise to the top, entrants should produce a baked good representing physiology, the science of life. We will be providing you with cookies and decoration materials for you to come up with the best representation of the human body. We will have printouts for you to look at and get your creativity going! Lastly, we'll host a public vote to see which are the 3 most original creations - the society will submit these to the BioBakes 2018 competition. Use the tag #BioBakes on all social media!
