Student Volunteering Week (SVW) - 19th to 25th February 2018

Student Volunteering Week is an opportunity for students to get involved, engage with their community and drive their own social action to a create positive impact within their local community and environment.

The week is also a chance for us to celebrate the best things about being a volunteer and help students become volunteers if they're not already!

Never volunteered before? Volunteer at every opportunity you can?! Either way, we will definitely have something for you!

Your Volunteer Centre team have organised a fun-packed week of activities and events for everyone to get involved in for free. So please come and join us. Let us show you how to make the most of your volunteering by creating a unique volunteering profile and learning how to log your volunteering hours and skills!

Activities you can get involved with this week,on and off campus, include:

  • Give it a Go's - Bramble Busting, Helping the Homeless
  • Donation Stations - Donate food, clothing and toiletries for the local homeless community
  • Grab your Volunteer Bingo Cards and stamp your way to a prize
  • A Crafternoon Session
  • Biscuit and Cake Decorating
  • Communi-TEA party
  • Volunteer Celebration Party!
