Interfaith Week: Multi Faith Meal

Join people of different faiths and none over a simple meal to discuss our varied perspectives on the relations between the sexes.

With #MeToo highlighting how women have been abused by men it is timely to discuss this. Many religions have much to say about the relations between women and men, often characterised as ‘traditional’ and sometimes criticised as oppressive of women. Are these positions still valid, do they have something to contribute to contemporary society, do they have to change to rise to developing ethical challenges?

Free simple meal of bread and spreads, cheese and salads (vegan options).

It is helpful to know how many to cater for so if you are definitely coming, please tell nigel.cooper@anglia.ac.uk
