Anglia Ruskin Students' Union and Block Porter Promotions bring you the next instalment of Thursday Night Live! 

TNL is a fantastic night of music and fun where established acts in the local and national scene play alongside student acts with amazing talent.

For our second 2015 show we have Cambridge based The Staycations, All We Earthlings, Elliot Porter and two student acts to be announced shortly. 


The Staycations 

Genre: Warped folk with a touch of indie rock

The Staycations are Lewis Hall (lead vocals), Charlie Hall (banjo/guitar), Will Hasleham (guitar/percussion) Craig Sadler (bass) and Ben Udin (Drums), a 'Warped Folk Indie Rock' band from Cambridge.

All We Earthlings 

Genre: Alternative Rock 

All We Earthlings are a 4-piece alternative rock band formed in Cambridge in late 2013. Taking influence from bands such as A Perfect Circle, Failure, Queens of the Stone Age and Reuben, they create songs that fuse huge melodies with an atmospheric sound and intricate structures to create brooding, emotional music.

They have recently recorded their first single – a double A-side “In the Red/Doll House”, and are rapidly winning fans in Cambridge with their intense and passionate live shows.

Elliot Porter

Genre: Acoustic/Folk 

Singer-songwriter Elliot is no stranger to TNL, having founded the event in 2013 with Daryl Sharpe and the SU. He now returns to play on the stage! 

Elliot has just released a new single 'Keep Going' which is available for free download to follow his EP of the same name which was released in August last year. Nominated for Best Male Solo Artist at the NMG Awards in 2014, Elliot is going from strength to strength and brings his heartfelt and powerful songs to Cambridge.

A versatile Rapper from South London 21 Years of age who has been recording music for 7 years with a real passion for music

Alex Hoteck

Alex Hoteck is a multi-instrumentalist musician/songwriter and filmmaker from Manasquan, NJ. His musical stylings root in rock, electronic, ambient, blues and soul amongst many others.
