I am currently in my second year of studying BSc Construction Management. Joining the representative team this academic year as a course rep for both years 2 and 1, I have gained the skills necessary for representing the faculty.

As a fellow student, I understand that university life can be stressful, although communication remains the strongest tool at human disposal. I believe firmly in enhancing the relationship between students and staff here at Anglia Ruskin. Thanks to the Student Unions services, the framework to effectively utilise this tool is already in place. I hope to be part of this process, enabling me to stress the changes that us FST students feel most important.

I plan to achieve in the faculty rep role by engaging with both staff and students, ensuring that both parties have all the resources necessary for maximising their performance, boosting both academic success on both an individual and collective level. My hope is that this will help make the most of every penny that students spend on their education by putting them in the best position to enter employment in the role they desire.
