For those of you who do not know me, I am the lacking in height Spanish bald guy that you may have seen wandering around campus. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I am Jose Manuel, a 1st year student in my second semester of civil engineering and I am currently a FdSc year 1 and 2 Rep. I would like to run for faculty rep as I would like the opportunity to continue the work I have been carrying out so far with the aim to make a positive difference for us as students.

I am a strong believer of a positive experience for students results in positive academic results,  therefore working closely with the university and fellow students it will provide me with ideas and views to put forward and improve our learning environment.

Students are an integral part of the negotiation process and If you vote for me,  I will ensure that our voice is heard and that the university face up to those challenges.

I am honest and I do not believe in lying to you all and saying that I promise to do something that actually is impossible, but what I will say is that I will always act on your behalf and never for my personal gain and I will do my absolute best to voice your views, concerns and aspirations to the university.

I look forward to hearing new Ideas from you all and to working with you to improve our student experience here at Anglia Ruskin.
