Names Niamh and I wanna be your AHSS Vice President, I’ve been in this uni for a good few years and had the privilege of being a campaign rep, course rep and committee member during my time here. Now I want to take those skills and use them to provide students with equal or greater opportunities available than I had as a student of Anglia Ruskin University.
Goals:
- Improving student facilities for all students including AHSS courses new and old.
- Giving continued access to course resources and expanding these resources in the future
- Run AHSS specific events and have them advertised properly to students so they can develop further academic and industry skills
- Creating schemes to replace Books plus, such as a book recycle project to make it easier for students to obtain course books easier
- Helping spotlight programmes and projects currently running that the greater student populace may not know about
Also, I’m running in a slate called A.S.U.P. alongside my slate partner, Lars Woolnough. So please support him as well in his bid for AHSS faculty rep and together we can support each other in improving the overall uni experience alongside the other officers, faculty and campaign reps.
And hey if after reading all of this you don’t want me as your #1 cool, maybe another candidate has swayed you or your supporting a mate. In that case still, consider making me and Lars your #2 or #3 choice
