KEEPING SECRETS
As Summer Shaw heads for the bright lights of London for her new role as Maria in The Sound Of Music, Summer Strallen, the actor that plays her, will be doing the same as HOLLYOAKS merge fiction with reality. Channel 4 spoke to Summer about how she's managed to keep the news a secret, she said: "It's has been awful and so hard to keep a secret. In the West End a rumour will get around in a minute because it is such a close circle of people. In the beginning had to sign a confidentiality agreement and the only people who knew were my boyfriend and my best friend and they were the only ones who knew for about two months. My mother only found out in November, but my family are all incredibly proud."

The shortlist of winners from the HOLLYOKE Karaoke competition will be put together on 15th February and three finalists will appear on T4 and win tickets for themselves and a guest to see the gala performance of The Sound Of Music on the 3rd March 2008.
