Top Tips for Uni – Keeping you and your things safe

There are a few basic things you can do to help keep you and your belongings safe. Here are some top tips for your time at uni:

  • Make sure that you lock windows and doors when you go out – especially if you’re the last person to leave the house/flat
  • If you’re in Halls of Residence be careful who you let in, or who comes in after you – they may not necessarily be a student
  • Register your valuables on www.immobilise.co.uk , so if they’re recovered by the police, they can be tracked back to you
  • Don’t leave your valuables on display in your home or in your car
  • Keep a list of emergency numbers handy – just in case you need them
  • Always get a licensed taxi home at night, or travel home with friends
  • Get suitable student insurance with Endsleigh, so you can relax and make the most of your time at uni

National Student Survey Results 2008

The SU Perspective – September 2008.

The publication of the National Student Survey results for Anglia Ruskin University do not come as a surprise to the Students’ Union. The themes identified in this years result is part of a trend that has been growing over the last three to four years. These trends were identified in the Student Written Submission (2007) and have been articulated by students through Programme Committees, Faculty Boards and else where. This report outlines the Union’s interpretation of the results and sets out a number of actions that we believe should be implemented as a matter of urgency. Many of these recommendations are not new and have been put forward through various committees in the past.
