If you're looking to rent around Uni, this page should help you get started. The University Accommodation Service (UAS) offers a wide range of help and support in getting you sorted with somewhere to live - including lists of local properties to rent, handy checklists, and guidance with the whole renting process should you need it.
The SU Advice Service also supports students renting properties, from finding somewhere in the first place, to advice on how to retain your deposit, fix any problems with your accommodation, and how to deal with any of the classic 'Landlord Aggro'.
