CUR1350

Hello and Welcome to CUR1350,

We are the UK’s number 1 student radio station, and more importantly we are the radio station for all the students, staff and academics at Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University.

We are here first and foremost to entertain you, and inform you about what’s going on in Cambridge.

We aim to cater for everyone, with different shows, styles and of course genres, entertainment, chat, comedy, rock, indie, dance, classic, funk, jazz the list goes on. You can listen to us 24 hours a day online on our website, or in the Cambridge area on AM, also if you miss a show or fancy trying something new we have our listen again service.
Also our website should be on your favourites, not only is it the easiest way to find out what’s going on with CUR1350, it should also be the place to find out about news, music, events and more, all focused around being a student in Cambridge.

What’s more its worth mentioning that we are a station run by students for students, that corny line you hear all over the place, but its true, any student of Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin can get involved from presenting to being part of the news team, tech team, music team or even the station management.

Also we are a growing station and organisation, not only are we getting more members and more listeners, we are looking at growing what we do and offer, with a greater number of diverse shows, more content on our website and new facilities. We even hope to be on FM in the future, and you could be part of it, either as a listener or as part of the team.

So if you have any questions, ideas, comments or would like to get involved please feel free to contact us:

National Student Survey Results 2008

The SU Perspective – September 2008.

The publication of the National Student Survey results for Anglia Ruskin University do not come as a surprise to the Students’ Union. The themes identified in this years result is part of a trend that has been growing over the last three to four years. These trends were identified in the Student Written Submission (2007) and have been articulated by students through Programme Committees, Faculty Boards and else where. This report outlines the Union’s interpretation of the results and sets out a number of actions that we believe should be implemented as a matter of urgency. Many of these recommendations are not new and have been put forward through various committees in the past.
