UCCE - University Centre of Cricketing Excellence

Anglia Ruskin Univeristy is proud to support students who have have previously reached, or have the capibility of reaching a high cricketing standard. The UCCE is a combined venture with Cambridge University, enabling Anglia Ruskin to secure a full time cricket coach (Chris Scott), and take advantage of the prestigious Fenners Cricket grounds which is only a 5 minute walk from the Anglia Ruskin Cambridge campus. Each year the UCCE squad compete in the BUSA premier league, and are always confident in achieving a positive result. Students from both the Chelmsford or Cambridge campus will be able to take advantage of this scheme.

The Students' Union also support their own Cricket squad, which widens participation throughout the University while acting as a support network for the UCCE squad.
