This session will last 1.5 hours. Initially we will have a consultation with you to find out about your specific goals, and also enquire about your other commitments to help ensure we maximise the sucess of the programme. We will then take your physically through every component of your exercise plan ensuring you can achieve the level of intensity that is intended. The exercise component will always include a detailed flexibility programme at the end of the sesion to help ensure you feel fantastic when you leave the facility. These programmes will always be carried out by a REPS level 2 or 3 qualified instructors, so your goals can be general or sports / health specific.

Fitness Evaluations £10:

This is a full fitness evaluation that includes an assesment of your body fat percentage, blood pressure, resting heart rate, aerobic capasity, lung efficiency, and a lifestyle review. At the end of the of the 1 hour session you will be issued with a personal report that clearly outlines your achievements in charts and concise text. If you decide to have another fitness evaluation in 2-3 months we can enter the same results beside the original results so that you can easily compare any changes. This is also a fantastic tool for the exercise professional as the evaluation will uncover any other areas that require development such as blood presure, flexibility or posture.

National Student Survey Results 2008

The SU Perspective – September 2008.

The publication of the National Student Survey results for Anglia Ruskin University do not come as a surprise to the Students’ Union. The themes identified in this years result is part of a trend that has been growing over the last three to four years. These trends were identified in the Student Written Submission (2007) and have been articulated by students through Programme Committees, Faculty Boards and else where. This report outlines the Union’s interpretation of the results and sets out a number of actions that we believe should be implemented as a matter of urgency. Many of these recommendations are not new and have been put forward through various committees in the past.
