Campaigning is all about representing the views and opinions of Students at Anglia Ruskin on a collective and individual basis. We follow campaigns nationally and on a local level. The idea behind it is too raise awareness of issues that effects the students whilst at Anglia Ruskin. For example Top-Up Fees (National) and Safety issues (Local). We also take part in awareness campaigns relateed to subjects that students should be educated on or could relate to you during your student lives.

There are lots of people who get involved in campaigning depending on the scale of the issue.
National Level
Campaigners on this level would range from Sabbatical Officers from Students' Unions all over the country to the students at the individual universities. An example is the Top-Up fees campaign. All Sabbatical officers attended the march in London in October along with a fair few students.
Local Level
People who would get involved would be the Sabbatical Officers and volunteers would believe that the issue we are persuing affects them. There can be lots of people involved in a campaign or there could just be one particular student. If you do want to take part in one of the campaigns that we are running (please see the campaigns diary) or you have a good idea or feel strongly about a campaign then please let us know.
