International Officer Chelmsford
Sheryln Morris
"My name is Sherlyn Morris. I am in my third and final year of a BA(Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance. I have chosen the role of International Students' Officer as I am able to relate with international students considering I am one myself. Travelling all the way from Belize, I took on the challenge to leave home and get to know another way of life. However, I did feel a need for more representation within the university to address the difficulties faced by international students. In addition, the role offers me the ability to encourage pride in the different areas we come from and to encourage students to embrace the lifestyle of the environment our university is situated in but at the same time not be afraid to share and teach of the places we come from.My aim, therefore, is to unlock the diversity present at Anglia Ruskin and create an exciting atmosphere which is still unified."
