This year, the Students’ Union, with the support of Anglia Learning and Teaching, launched the student led 'Made a Difference' Awards.  Through this, ARU students (current and alumni), including our partner institutions, were able to nominate academic and support service staff, who have made a difference to them.  During the nomination period, we received over 1,000 responses of which 780 nominations were eligible for consideration by the student panels. In all 323 different members of staff were nominated.

 

All nominated staff received a letter and a 'Made a Difference' 2012 mug.  In addition, twelve nominations as adjudged by the student panel, received a special award at our ‘Made a Difference’ Awards Dinner on 11^th May.

 

We would like to take this opportunity, to congratulate everyone who has made a difference to the student experience at Anglia Ruskin University and all the students who participated in nominating staff.
